The International Business Center has been designated by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Resource Center (Center for International Business & Research/CIBER) since 1990, with the mission to provide superior education, research, and assistance to businesses, public policy makers, academics, and students on international business and trade. Our initiatives include the number one online international business resource, globalEDGE. Additionally, we house the Academy of International Business, the premier global community of international business scholars. We are known for our close collaborations with partners at the US Commercial Service, NASBITE International, and community college associations. Locally we work with Michigan’s development and agricultural offices, chambers, and other business associations to find innovative solutions to grow businesses globally, including creating customized market research and providing training and network events to prepare our communities for success in today’s global markets.

The Media and Advertising Psychology (MAP) Lab focuses on the study of media and advertising using biopsychological approaches, methods, and theories. The MAP lab comprises a consortium of faculty, graduate and undergraduate students with multi-disciplinary focus, including: health communication, advertising and marketing communication, social media, retailing, media multitasking, and counterfeit consumer education, to name a few.

The certificate is a wonderful way to enhance your experience and previous education with a concrete focus on technical packaging concepts.The MSU School of Packaging certificate programs are designed for industry professionals working in packaging or a related field, who are looking to enhance their formal education by earning a certificate. Students in the certificate programs enroll in MSU online packaging classes as Lifelong Education (LLE) students and are not subject to the admission requirements of the graduate degree program.
